This is a great griddle and seasoned up easily. First cook was onions and did a terrific job. Heat is uniform and is heavy duty. I highly recommend this product and will use it regularly.
I am thrilled with the Full Size Griddle Insert for my Weber Genesis II 400 Series grill! Just as good as the OEM version. Tailgriller has delivered an outstanding product that fits perfectly and provides good heating across the entire surface. Some surface areas of the griddle can be hotter than others. It's a game-changer for cooking breakfast, burgers, and even stir-fry. The griddle's high-quality construction and non-stick surface make it easy to cook and clean. You MUST season this griddle for optimal performance. Do not let the griddle exceed 500 degrees Fahrenheit. I would recommend purchasing a infrared surface heat thermometer. If you want to elevate your grilling experience, this griddle insert is a must-have!

This is an extremely well built, sturdy, and heavy carbon steel griddle. Fits my Weber, Genesis Special Edition perfectly it and seasons quickly, easily, and most importantly, evenly. Oh, and it cooks well too. Very happy about this purchase.
I have a Weber and an offset smoker. I didn't want a third grill on my deck and patio. This was a great substitute, and for significantly less than a Blackstone, or Weber's griddle. It fits perfectly in my grill. The surface was easy to season. I treated it like I treat my cast iron skillets. It seems to heat evenly. I have not used a thermometer on it yet. It holds heat well. I have had it about three weeks and used it about a dozen times or more. I have not had any warping like other commenter's.
I did not recieve the handles in my packaging. I left a sellers review because I didn't have any other way to contact them. They emailed me that day, and sent me the handles. Great service.
One of the cons to this are the grease drip. Not sure of a better way to do this. It's a trade off for converting a traditional gas grill. The other con is that it is an insert, which makes it have a front rail that is lower than the grill box. This impacts the way I use griddle turners because of the hot front rail.
Overall I am very happy with this griddle plate. I am happy with my decision, and may buy on for my Aunts Weber at her beach house.
